A nice day to visit the museum with a special exhibit to feature. The Japanese Samurai.

I am a bit of a fan of some aspects Japanese culture and philosophy. I find it really interesting to see images of Samurai armour. Shooting in museums I always find a bit challenging. One wants a moment without people walking into the photo and the lights are usually really dim. So, well done on getting past all that!

This was a separate pay-per-view (PPV) event at the local museum. I had to increase the ISO with the lens aperture set to F/2.8 to get these shots. Then I had to get the timing right when people weren't walking. That was the other part of the equation. Setting the camera to continuous shooting solved a lot of those problems by taking multiple pictures and discarding the frames with people in them. Then of course NO Flash Photography. I just left the speedlite at home no need to carry it around. Adding extra weight and space I could utilize for extra batteries and memory cards.
