Need guidance in naming 1,000s of batch scanned photos. Found that hundreds of photos were lost when reviewing folders as they save over one another. It shouldn't be this difficult. It seems that it is only can add a (1) or (2) extension if it detects a pre-used number, but does not go beyond that. It starts naming over with each new group of photos. Lost 5 hrs of scanning. If this becomes too manual of a process, it's not worth it, as we have about a year's worth of scanning to complete.
