Canoscan9000F

I have a canoscan9000f. Have updated my mac to high sierra. Now when I go to use the scanner 2 folders show up on the desktop. one is labeled SCN_MFP the other is OSCN_MFP. They don't seem to be used for anything, so how can I stop them from showing up every time I use the scanner? Thank you

Do you have the MP Navigator EX installed and are you using that application to perform scanning with your CanoScan 9000F?
