Canon MF424dw Scanner Function, Feature Selection Windows 11 & Windows 10

Hello,

I am new to this forum - thank you for having me.

I have a Canon MF424dw which has been great. I use it for printing and scanning. I have used the device with both Windows 10 and 11 over the last few years. Today I began having issue scanning to my Windows 11 laptop. The device screen allows me to select computer as the scan destination and then my laptop, however the scan job never starts and the device only beeps after some time and displays "an error occurred". When I attempt to select the device in Windows 11, under Scanner (System Settings -> Printes and Scanners), Windows notes that scanner is offline which it is not.

So, I factory reset the printer and uninstalled/reinstalled all Canon drivers on my laptop. When attempting to setup the printer and scanner again on my laptop, I noticed in the "Canon MF Scan Utility" software, the selection for "Scan both sides when scanning from the ADF" selection box is not available, it's just not there anymore. I don't think the software version changed at all so it seems to be something between my device and my laptop. I grabbed another laptop, this one running Windows 10, downloaded and installed the printer software and the Scan Utility, and during setup, I was able to select the double-sided ADF option in the MF Scan Utility. The Windows 10 laptop is now scanning seamlessly, and it seems that no matter what I deinstall/reinstall or reset, I cannot get my Windows 11 laptop (which had been working fine) to setup correctly and scan with my device. Any thoughts?
