CanoScan LiDE 200 & 210 unable to attach scan to email anymore

I'm hoping some one on here can help me with a Canon email issue, I have 4 Win10 systems and all have Thunderbird as my email client and all use either Canon Lide 200 or Lide 210 scanners, a few months ago the ability to auto attach scanned documents to emails failed to work any more, since its a problem on all our systems I can only assume its a software update problem ? - 2 systems I can manually attach scanner documents to Thunderbird with MP Navigator EX 2.0 but the other 2 systems it doesnt recognise Thunderbird is even on my computer, I get a message that says there's no email client to attach it to or associated with the program, the Thunderbird program is the main and only email one set up on these. Can anyone help me with this ? Im really stumped and would like to get full function back or at least be able to attach scanned documents manualy , I'm not very technical so if anyone can help please keep it simple for me ................

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The CanoScan LiDE 200 and the LiDE 210 are older models which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for them, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them Monday through Friday at 1-866-443-8002.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Danny it appears no one in the community has a solution, whilst I understand your reply you cant expect me to trash 4 good scanners for such a small reason, I suspect that Microsoft has made some changes in an update that has stopped our scanners from functioning as intended and that your MP Navigator EX2.0 is not compatible any longer ? Anyway last thing I want to do is buy 4 new scanners that still might not function / integrate with Thunderbird as a result so was hoping someone on this site could offer me some real solution so if we do buy new scanners they will work ..........now that would help
