I have the older Canoscan9000F scanner which is in excellent condition, however I have not used it for a while. I recently found some negatives I would like to scan. There doesn't appear to be software available from Canon now to do this but I seem to remember it can still be found somewhere on the web. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, I have access to Mac IOS and Windows 11.

I suggest that you just invest in VueScan.

I’ve looked at Vuescan just worried if it will scan negatives.

Of course VueScan will do negatives. Any film scanning app will.
Have you tried installing the latest Windows-version software Canon lists (7-8-10?) I have a CanoScan 8800F that is only "supported" up to to Windows 7, but the 7 driver and software works perfectly in Windows 10 and 11.
