Hi, I recently purchased a Laowa 100mm Macro 2x (RF mount) lens to use on my new canon R5 C but when I press the shutter it won't trigger. I have no problem if I switch back to my EF lens with an adapter.
I am running firmware 1.0.8.1.
I am using Manual Focus (MF) and I am in Manual mode (M)
I tried turning the camera on and off.
I tried removing the lens and putting it back on.
I can record videos without issue.
Anyone here running the same setup with success? or not?
Edit: added that I can record videos.

SOLVED
Well the solution for anyone looking is to enable the Release shutter w/o lens in the orange menu on the 4th page C.Fn4.
