I don't have a cinema camera, but this seems like the best place for knowledge for my question.
I have a Canon 5d Mark IV and I want to film myself singing while playing a mp3 audio instrumental in the background. How would I do this and sync the audio and visuals together at once? I'd rather not have to record the vocals separately and then add the audio in post. The mic I have is the Rode VideoMic Pro.

Greetings,
The 5D4 will do an ok job capturing video that includes sound. The rode mic wil help with audio quality too.
A tripod will be helpful and should be used.
Then review your manual starting on page 351 (general video recording)

Then practice, practice, practice.
