Hello Canon Forum,
Has anyone here had issues with their monitor out port? (MON).
I just had my MON out port quit functioning, forcing me to use SDI out. Canon is currently fixing the issue with my camera, but I am curious to know if others have had the same issue, and you have figured out why this may have happened with your camera.

We have 2 at the shop and both models have this same issue... i have a theory...I think it's from a power surge through SDI port and connecting power to the external monitor we use which is a SmallHD

I'm having the same issue suddenly. May i ask how were you powering the monitor?
