Custom file naming on C300mkiii

Hello,

Is there a way to create custom file names for clips in the C300mkiii similar to how you can on Sony FX9? For example I want my clips to be labelled as project_interview name_Roll number_date. Need to know how to do this for a shoot tomorrow.

Hi DerekEllis,

You are able to customize elements of the file name. The steps to do that are on pages 58-59 of the manual. If you need a copy of the manual it is available HERE. Once you are on the web page click on the Manuals button and the one to reference is named EOS C300 Mark III, EOS C500 Mark II Instruction Manual.
