I just a new IMAC PRO, nearly fully speced out. When importing, rendering, or exporting, I'm experiencing random crashes, so much so I usually have to try to export 3 times to finally export a prores 422 HQ file. Is this because of the latest Catlina update that is NOT compatible with the Canon Raw LITE software for FCPX? I've trashed preferences, recreated libraries, reinstalled FCPX, gotten rid of Google Chrome. Pretty much at the end of my rope here. Spent a tonne of money on a computer to perform a purpose that it's not performing, even though before the latest Catalina update it was fine. Any idea when Canon will be coming out with the next update to make it compatible with FCPX?

No, not at all. I've already used the Canon RAw LITE integration software and downloaded the latest version, uninstalled, and done all the obvious things. It was fine, and worked until the latest upgrade of Catalina.
