I own a Canon HF R42 camcorder with the latest firmware installed. I use Pixela Camera Access Plus to control both the R42 and my CT-V1 pan cradle.
To to do this I have selected Remote Control + Streaming then Monitor from Home, and connected successfully with the SSID and password.
My problem is that the Pixela Movie Uploader doesn't see the camcorder.
I have tried connecting while Camera Access is running, and I have also tried after power-cycling my iPad v2 and connecting with the wi-fi connection provided by the camcorder.
What am I doing wrong??

Found the answer to my question, and I wish it was documented a bit better.
Movie Uploader works fine - once you change the camcorder state from 'record' to 'playback'.
I'll admit that it makes sense that way, but I wish there was a 1-screen intro that could be disabled in Movie Uploader that noted this. Oh well!
