I have a ImageProGraf 1100 it's on a wifi network and I connect my Windows 11 Home computer to it via Wifi. It's been working fine. Tonight, I sent it a print job via Professional Print and Layout. PPL shows activity, a print queue appears listing the job. The queue shows standby, sending, and then errors out. I can press the "Show UI" button and see the front panel of the printer. When I go to the job history it shows that the print was cancelled - no other indication of what the issue might be. I've checked the IP address, despite being able to bring up the UI on my PC which would indicate communication. I've rebooted the printer and the PC with no success.
In the process of troubleshooting the issue, I changed the admin password to be able to access the job manager.

@exeter_acres I just did the same thing. This happened again with my replacement printer. Display says "Printing..." and then nothing happens, and then the printer display turns back to "Ready to Print" after nothing. I Was able to get the printer to do a nozzle check and print its page, without a problem.
LATEST NEWS:
Even though, I and everyone else I know, is afraid to power cycle (off and on) the printer as we expect major ink usage to occur in the re-cycle, after checking the voltage on the power strip which was fine, I decided to unplug the power cord and place into another slot on the power strip (its the only device on the strip)... and it just printed the LAN Settings... I am hopeful it will print from Lightroom and PC now.. cross fingers.
The Printer is PRINTING again... YEAH...

Yeah this is still an issue that is happening. Currently dealing with this myself on a Mac. I've reset the LAN etc. but am not going to turn off and on because the ink cost is just too high for that to be a viable solution.

Curious for all of us that this issue is happening… Are we all on Wi-Fi… Or is anyone who this is happening to hardwired land… I’m on Wi-Fi I think ultimately I’ll try and run a network cable over to where the printer is just to see…

Also, when you quickly turn it off and then back on, it doesn’t seem like it’s doing much with the ink… I know there are stories of when you turn it off and on it uses a ton of ink, but I’m not sure if that’s actually happening with the 1100…

I'm on Wifi. I connected with a cable but can't even seem to figure out how to print it when I'm hardwired. I do admit though that that is on me. If you do know, let me know. I'm using Canon's professional print and layout

The other thing I noticed is that I send a print to the printer, it appears to go through, and then Lightroom acts like the print job is done, even though nothing happened. This just happened, but the REAL CULPRIT was that I was out of an ink (CO). When I replaced the ink cartidge, it printed again and since. So, unfortunately, not a great User Experience since the printer and software should be telling us we cannot print as the ink is unavailable... it only shows a warning with a "!" in a yellow triangle. The printers do a great job, IMO, but they need a red Stop Sign 🛑 and some wording to go along with it... "Unable to Print. Please Add/Replace Ink to Cartridge X"
