Hi everyone. I've tried looking this up but wasn't sure how to word it, so I figured I'd try here. I'm a professional printer and recently replaced the print head in a PRO-1000 printer due to multiple clogged nozzles. After the head was replaced, I did a head alignment and printed a nozzle check to make sure everything was good before printing and this is how to CO pattern came out:
I've never seen it printed like this, only as a slightly dark gray and light gray. I did a test print to try to see what was wrong and it came out with almost no color and very dark. I did another print of the same file on the PRO-4100 to show what the print should look like - see below (top is from PRO-1000, bottom is from PRO-4100):
Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

Canon-branded CO ink? The print pattern does it's thing with the head moving side to side and your CO print shows consistent goofiness of printing solid black on multiple passes. Not sure what would cause firing black ink instead of CO, though. Loose wiring or bad contacts or something? I suggest calling Canon. Hopefully they've seen this pattern before, or someone else here has.
