Pro-100 noise

I just bought a Pro-100. It prints fine but constantly sounds like it is cleaning the printheads. Sometimes it will grind on for as much as 30 seconds right after I print. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks

Mine does it periodically. You could give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON and chat with them to see what they think.
