Print Studio Pro and Photoshop Elements 12

Mark_DeB

Hello,

I am having trouble installing the Print Studio Pro plug-in for Photoshop Elements.  I just installed Elements 12 and downloaded Print Studio Pro 1.3.0.  When I try to install the plug-in, I get a message that tells me that I do not have a supported version of Photoshop.  Apparently Elements 11 is supported but 12 is not?  When will 12 be supported?

This is in Windows 7.

Thanks,

Mark

As someone posted on another thread, Print Studio Pro Ver. 1.3.5 is out and supports Photoshop Elements 12.

Yup, PSE 11 is the last supported version.

EOS 1DX and 1D Mk IV and less lenses then before!

I have Lightroom 5.3 and Print Studio Pro installed, printing to the PIXMA PRO-100. Best thing that could happen to Lightroom! I also have Photoshop Elements 12 but PSP won't install there. I hope that Canon will make this happen. Print Studio Pro, for me, makes much more sense to print with and the results are great. I can't tell you how much paper and ink I have wasted because of the confusing and hard to understand steps necessary to make a print from PE12. Please make it work for PE12!

I can't make the Cannon Print Studo Pro 1.3.5 work.  I use Windows 8.1 x64, Photoshop Elements 12 (v12.1) . Per instructions, File, Automation Tools (but the automation tools is grayed out).  If I go to File, Preferences, Plug-Ins, there are no plug-in's listed.  So I checked on "Additonal Plug-Ins Folder" and directed the parth to c:\Program Files (x86)\Print Studio Pro\en\.  But that does not seem to make any difference.   Are you absolutely sure that Print Studio Pro plug-in works with Photoshop Elements 12 (v12.1)?  That is not my experience.   I think that I know what I'm doing, I work in IT industry as a technicial support specialist. Inter I74770, 13tb memory, 3tb Video, 32Gb memory, Asus mobo, etc., should be all good with software requirements.  Any suggestions are welcomed.

Hi KeithB,

When I click on File>Automation Tools, I do see Print Studio Pro (not grayed out), and when I click on that, Print Studio Pro comes up.  Elements 12.0, Windows 7, x64.  When I go to Edit>Preferences>Plug-Ins, I see nothing and the Additional Plug-Ins Folder is not checked.  Is it possible to try reinstalling Print Studio Pro?  That's what I would try first.  Hope this helps,

Mark
