No. These printers will cease to operate without all of their inks installed and having adequete ink reserves available.
Many people come to this realization after purchasing. Too costly for you, suggest you put it on eBay and use an alternate service. Other issues. If you aren't using the printer(s) on a regular basis, the pigmented based inks will dry up and clog the print head. A deep cleaning can run you $20 - $40 every time you press the button.
This is the reality of high end photo printers.
