I am trying to upgrade the firmware from 2.010 to 2.100. After clicking Start on the Printer Update Utility I get the following error message:
The printer status is incorrect. Turn on the printer again, and then restart the utility.
I have tried this several times and on two different PCs with the same result. Any idea?
Thanks!

Jenine, thanks for the sugestion and quick response.
I am using Windows 8.1 64 bit. I have tried the fuu_-win-pro_1-1_2-ea32 tool downloaded from the USA Canon site and I also tried the fuu_-win-pro_1-1_3-ea32 version downloaded from the Asian site. I got same result using both versions.
