My Pixma Mark II 9000 icon shows in Windows 7's devices and printers
panel and it is selected as the default printer.
It still doesn't print, even though the document shows in the printer queue..
Any suggestions?

Hello festus33.
Please check to make sure that the printer is connected directly to your computer via USB rather than through any USB hubs or extension devices.
If the document still does not print, please try connecting the printer to a different USB port on the computer.
If any errors occur, please document them exactly as they appear.
