I am looking for confirmation that I am going to have to purchase another printer because myPro 300 is showing Error Code 1700, my ink absorber is almost full.
I have only made 1630 prints, none of them were borderless and I have only used Canon inks.
I have 2 questions.
- Can this be right? From what I have read others get this message after 4000 or so prints. This seems to have happened much too soon.
- Is there a technical reason why Canon printers have a built in end-of-life? Is there a feature or some other reason for having ink absorbers? I was told that Epson stopped using ink absorbers around 2010.
