Hi, I have been using a roll film with white tape on the edges for several years but now when I try to print an image the printer error message is: "Cannot detect the paper size. Move the release lever and reload the paper". I have done this 3+ times with no change. The error does not show up with plain white paper. I am printing the same image with the same settings from photoshop. I have deleted and reloaded the printer from my Mac. When I initially load the film, the printer has no problem detecting what it is, "clear film", it's only when I try to print that the error shows up. The "how to clear" does not help. I have also noticed that the roll loading does not align the paper with the orange line. (not sure if thats a problem or not) See photos. Any suggestions? Thanks!
UPDATE: when I load a clear sheet manually the error does not appear.

Does your printer driver have this setting option?

I havent seen that but I will look. It should be 'checked' correct? Is it in the driver?

Yes, in the driver Maintenance tab. Uncheck it if you don't want printer to check (which is what I think you want).
