imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5540i Reducing Number of Paper Size Options

I've asked our IT department to remove & eliminate ~35 of the ~40 paper sizes listed in the printer properties, they say its not possible. Yet, I worked another company where all the non-standard paper sizes were removed, making it super efficient to flip into paper sizes to select says letter or 11x17, which is 99% of our printing.

How can I educate our IT group on how to remove these 35+ paper sizes that will never be used from the printer properties?
