imagePROGRAF iPF750 "Refilling ink" message whenever I print a document

My problem is simple, every time I print a document on my CANON IPF750 plotter, the system displays the message "Refilling ink" and it takes about 3 minutes until the printer menu appears on the display again.
What can I do to fix it?
