I've been using a Pro-4000 since it was released, and some time this year it started to print with a cyan cast at the start of the printing cycle, the full width of the stock and up to about 1-3" or so in, fading to the correct color. It doesn't do this all the time, but it seems to be becoming more frequent. (It happened twice yesterday, out of 15 separate prints.) The print head is in warranty, and was replaced about 6 months ago. I've tried to run the cleaning procedure, but I hesitate to do so again, as it wastes so much ink, and it made no difference. The test print didn't have this issue. I have another new print head, but I don't want to break it out of its packaging unless there is a reasonable chance that this will fix the problem. Print quality is always fine, aside from the initial cyan cast. It only does this at the very start of a print. I read some posts about people encountering this issue (or something very similar) on the Pro-1000 machine. It seemed that the general consensus was that this was a print head issue. Should I replace the print head? Thanks in advance for any advice!
