Océ TDS450 How to set up on Windows XP

Hi,

I just buy a tds 450 scanner with controller, this was functionnal until the windows xp umbedded turn done, i couldn't save it.

I couldn't reinstall windows on this machine because off blue screen.

So i used an other one with windows xp 3 home.

the question is, will it work!? 

I put the Spice III card on it, with the drivers i could save from the other hard drive. So the spice III is installed.

The next question is, does the scanner have to be detected by windows when you plug the fire wire in it or not? because i can't see it anywhere, even after a restart.

And in the oce system control i just see local host in the connection panel.

I'm lost besause i couldn't fine anywhere the way to install this scanner.

If anyone can help me i will appreciate it!

Thank you for responding, but if i choose to write on a forum it's exactlly because i don't wan't to call an official support. I'm not professional, this is not for a professional use, so i'll not paid for that.

Unfortunately without the reload disc and a proper controller you are DOA. There is a lot more on that backend than just being Windows, think your local ATM. It uses windows embedded but has a bunch of proprietary stuff you don't see.
