pixma tr4522 wifi connection help needed

I have a brand new canon pixma tr4522. 

I need help connecting the printer to wifi as I don't know how to enter my router password via the printer. 

When I select uppercase feature (*asterisk), I see know entry of codes on the printer screen. 

Please advise.

Hi ak49,

Then pressing the * key, the keyboard will switch from:

lower case 

upper case 

numbers 

The keyboard that is currently active will appear in the upper right corner of the printers display, as in the 3 images above.

Once the desired keyboard is selected, use the keypad to enter the letter/number.

For example, if you want a capital K, switch the keyboard to  and then press the number 5 two times.

Thanks! very helpful. Wonder why Canon did not include this in their manual. I am only halfway after 4hrs!! About to go POSTAL. Find me a Canon engineer!!
