pixma mx330 printer compatibility with MacBook Air

Canonquestion
Apprentice

I just purchased a new MacBook Air and can't seem to make it work with the pixma mx330 printer. There is no longer any support for this printer through Canon. I'm thinking it won't work, but would love for it to work with the new laptop since it's working fine. Any words of wisdom on new software updates, etc.? Thank you.

Hi Canonquestion!

The PIXMA MX330 was retired in 2015.

The most current drivers for this unit were for macOS 10.10 Yosemite. Product support is no longer available. Driver and content updates are not being made.

For the most current software, visit our site HERE and manually select Yosemite from the drop-down. Due to the age of the software, we cannot guarantee compatibility, so we highly recommend reaching out to the specialists at the Canon Upgrade Program to explore your options to get a discount on a current-generation printer at a discount. They're at 866-443-8002 Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm (ET).

Thanks for your reply to my question. I did call the upgrade program and got an educated response.
