I tried to connect MF8050 with network thru ethernet cable. But apparently the printer isn't in the network, since I can't locate this printer from my macbook pro... Anyone could help me trouble shoot? Thank you very much!

It will work best if you are using your own wireless router, instead of one provided by your internet provider.
I would suggest calling Canon Support at 1-800-OK-CANON for troubleshooting support in the U.S.. Be sure to have information about your wireless access point [your router's model number] ready when you call them. Also, know how to enter your router's setup mode, or administrator mode, so that configuration changes and checks can be made.
