imageCLASS MF753Cdw - Not scanning to destination folders

TaxGuy

Hello. I am trying to scan to destination folders but am not having success and I can't find the answer anywhere. I am using windows 11. I have entered the details in the send function app as:

Protocol = Cell_PC

Shared folder name = C:\Users\jg110\OneDrive\Documents\Donations

Settings on folders have been set to share to everyone

All software has been updated as well

I have tried different variations of the folder name by deleting "OneDrive" still nothing works. Any help will be immensely appreciated!

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, I finally got it figured out! I did put the back slashes before the hostname as you suggested. Secondly on the network path I deleted the drive the letter. Then I quit the send program, restarted the printer and voila! It works!

Greetings

Your path does not include a host name.  I can tell you're using Windows.

Here is an example.

\\hostname\users\admin\documents

You can use your local OneDrive directory so files that are scanned to the destination will automatically upload to the cloud.  You must have write permissions to the directory or scanning will fail.

Thanks for your response. I have tried a few different variations of your suggestion but I still get the same error message of 804.

I have tried: Cell_PC\Users\jg110\OneDrive\Documents\Donations and

Cell_PC\\C:\Users\jg110\OneDrive\Documents\Donations and neither of them work. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Can you see where I've gone astray?

Greetings,

Are you using \\ 2 backslashes before the hostname.

Also, folder permissions might need to propagate.

These are the two things I would suspect.

Hi,

Here's how I have it configured:

\\http:Cell_PC\C:\users\jg110\One Drive\Documents\Donations

I have all shared permissions checked

Starting to litter my floor with all the gray hair I'm pulling out!

Thanks!

So what was the final path name? I'm having the same problem.

This is the final path for my set up.

Host name: //Cell-PC

Path:      Users\jg110\OneDrive\Documents\Household Receipts

Change things to match names that you used. Hope it works for you

Note you have to use backslashes on the host name 😉        \\hostname

You can use forward slashes in the path /  🙂
