Hello!
I have installed the driver package for Windows 11 - "[Windows 64bit] MF269dw/MF267dw/MF264dw MFDrivers (UFRII LT / Generic Plus PCL6 / Generic FAX / ScanGear)".
The printer is being used wireless and the install went without problems. Printing is working fine. After installing the MF Scan Utility, it gives the error "A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed. Install it and try again.".

Greetings,
You need to install the MF scan utility v1.21.0.2
You'll find it at the link below. Select downloads, Windows, Windows 11. It's the second download..

The scanner will work after this install. 🙂

Hello!
Unfortunately, that is already tried. The MF Scan utility installed without any issues but then the error comes when trying to open it.

Greetings,
Thank you for reply and updating the thread. Do you have 3rd party antivirus installed that might be interfering with communication?

We have regular Windows Defender, but the Enterprise version. I could try to disable it temporarily and then install the MF Scan Utility.

Greetings,
No need to uninstall or disable Windows Defender. Only third party AV can conflict.
Have a look at your firewall settings. Make sure that the MF scan utility is allowed and not being blocked on the connection type public, private or domain. This is odd because the message that you're receiving would indicate that the MF scan utility is not installed.

In addition to the firewall configuration I mentioned above, Please go ahead and assign a static IP for the printer on your network. This will be done on your router. Once done, restart the printer and confirm it's using the assigned address. You can do this by pinging the IP from a command prompt or entering the IP into the address bar of your browser, the printer's web server should display.
Once the IP is confirmed, remove the printer from Windows 11 settings. Important, restart your system. Now add the printer as an IP printer specifying its IP address. Now retest.
I'm on my mobile device at the moment but I'll post some screenshots (what you'll see) once I grab my laptop.
Also, if you wouldn't mind providing information about your network hardware. Brand and model of your router. Is this equipment issued by your ISP? Or is it something you purchased, mesh system, any extenders in use, etc?

Hello again!
Apologies for the late reply, I was on vacation. Static IP did not help unfortunately. Still the same error when trying to run MF Scan utility.
The network devices are from the ISP, not sure about the models etc.
It seems that the scanning simply does not work. I will maybe try to use wired connection to test that in the future.
Thank you!

Greetings,
A wired connection is also not necessary as you have a partially functioning device (printing) via wireless. This appears to be a software issue related to the environment.
To rule out a hardware issue, can you copy using the scanner from the printers LCD? If that works, its likely software.
Please post an image of Settings > Bluetooth and Devices > Printers and Scanners. How may instances of the printer appear. (There should only be one) example.
Next Open Device Manager, (hint: right-click on the Windows Start button).
Expand Imaging Devices. What is present?
Is the printer installed as an IP printer? example
As I said earlier, the error indicates the Scan Utility is not installed, but it is, so windows is not seeing the scanner.
I also checked to be sure the MF269Dw supports Windows New printer stack and it does.
