MF232W - how to reset it to recognize a new computer ?
04-23-2025 12:28 PM
Greetings,
No reset or configuration steps are needed to add the printer to a new computer. The printer supports USB, Wireless Direct, Ethernet and wireless connectivity.
To install on a new device PC or MAC, visit the printers support portal and downloads the drivers applicable to the operating system you will be using it with.

I had to do this recently basically, just go to the printer’s menu, find the network settings, and reset them (look for something like “Reset LAN settings”). Then you can reconnect it to your Wi-Fi or plug it into the new computer with USB, and it should show up like a new device. Worked for me!
