I recently upgraded a clients mac OS to Sonoma (14.2). I was able to install the scanner software but noticed that it only supports 14.1.2. After installation i cannot add the network scanner to the Toolbox and I get Scanner unsupported. Is this something that is permanent or will I have to purchase a whole new printer/scanner given im running Sonoma 14.2.1.

Hello,
Usually, a small update like going from 14.1 to 14.2, would not cause a problem. In this situation, you can try reinstalling the recommended scanner driver and utilities for mac using the link Here. Once installed, you can try scanning again to see if it can add a scanner.
