i-SENSYS MF657Cdw Drivers for macOS Sequoia

CanDav
Apprentice

I will be transferring all the files from my old iMac to a Mac Mini M4 and I want to clean install as much as possible before doing the transfer, particularly because of the entirely different chipsets used, (Intel vs Aple M4).

I am confused about what Drivers are required for my i-Sensys MF657Cdw and particularly what is required for the scanner.

There are multiple printer drivers and Canon give no indication of their individual purpose or preference.

Then on the Scanner I have been using the "MF Scan Utility" for some years with entire satisfaction, but this no longer seems to be available. There is a scanner driver V2.15.17, but I don't know if this serves the same purpose.

Canon have been my printer of choice for some years, but I think they are very poor in this respect.

Any advice would be appreciated.
