i just upgraded to windows 11 and I'm trying to scan documents into my computer and the software the scanner needs ("Canon MP Navigator EX 4.0") won't open. I keep getting errors that it can't find two files:
mpnfexp.dll AND mpnfimp.dll
I tried re-installing this software and updating the drivers but I'm still having the same problem.
The printer and copy functions seem to work fine.
This can happen when something on the computer( fire wall/security program) is interfering with the scanner driver. Since reinstalling the driver and software did not resolve the issue, I recommend reaching out to Microsoft support. They will be able to troubleshoot your computer to see what is interfering with the scanner driver/software and resolve that issue so you can scan again.
