Hopefully a simple question. What band does the MF753CDW connect to. 2.4, 5, or 6. Just wondering. TIA

Network specifications from the manual are at https://oip.manual.canon/USRMA-7178-zz-SSM-750-enUS/contents/devu-mcn-spec-nw.html.   802.11n (2.4 and 5 GHz dual-band) is supported, but 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) and 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) are not on that list.

Greetings,

The MF753 CDW requires a 2.4 GHz wireless broadcast that supports WPA2 encryption.  The printer will not connect to a 5, 6 or 7 GHz broadcast.

I know the presence of the 802.11n standard  would appear to make this printer compatible with 5 GHz, it is not.  The printer only has a 2.4 GHz radio.

I thought as much, just wanted to know. The new router doesn't tell you anything other than wired or wireless. The old arris had a list for everything. Told me what radio, Ip, protocol, channel, strength. The new ones are a joke. I works which is good enough!!

Many thanks to Rick for the correction!  My bad for assuming that the specs implied full implementation.

And super glad that it works!  That's what really matters!
