Printer Turns On and Off By Itself?

Pixma TS3100 Used via WiFi connections only. Works perfectly.

Periodically, when not in use, this printer turns On by itself and makes sounds, and doesn't print anything. 

Is this a programmed maintenance feature or is someone trying to sign into it via WiFi?

It is most likely agitating the black pigment ink cartridge.
