My son cant print from his chromebook and needs to be able to for school. I have tried everything. Is it not supported?? What do I do? My mom was able to print from it when she had it.

Google ended Cloud Print support last year. This was google's choice, not Canon's. It might be possible for you to connect the printer to your wireless network and then as an IP printer to the chromebook. I said might because google constantly changes what it does and does not support.
I realize the low price of a chromebook is attractive, but you get what you pay for. If you want a trouble free experience, buy a laptop with a real operating system. Windows or Mac. Googe considers Chrome OS an operating system, the rest of the world, not so much.
While it does have some merits, its not a industry standard and thus does not receive development outside of what google may provide.
