PIXMA TS7720 not compatible with Microsoft Surface pro 11 edition?

I just bought the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 edition. I got this message during installation of PIXMA TS7720 printer: This printer cannot connect to the OS running on your device. Tried to download the driver from Canon website. It states, This software is not supported by computers running Windows on ARM. I managed to install it as Canon TS7700 series printer, but it only prints from the rear tray, not from the cassette. The printer works perfectly with my Samsung PC and iPhone.

Any suggestion?

Greetings,

The TS7720 is not supported under Windows based ARM processors.

I noticed the Microsoft is pushing ARM based devices with Snapdragon processors as the only option.  I was going to recommend that you exchange it for an Intel based option, which they do not appear to offer any longer.  Just be aware that this is not only limited to peripherals. Some software will only run on Intel compatible CPUs as well.  You have 60 days to return according to Microsoft's website.

Thank you! Should I expect Microsoft to solve this issue anytime soon?
