My Canon TR4720 printer/scanner has a new problem, when I view a new scan the program is no longer giving me the ability to "save as" or save the scan to a folder on my desktop. It seems like it opens the scan online. How can I get scans to open in the original program again? (I have been using a Canon TR4720 for a few weeks and it works fine. I recently also installed an Epson scanner and this may be causing my problem) I use Windows 11

Greetings,
Scans are typically saved as .PDFs (documents) or .JPG's (images). When you say the outputs "appear to open online" does this mean in a browser?
If so, this is likely because windows 11 will set Edge or Chrome (if installed) as the default file handler for .PDF files.
Installing another device or software could also change file type associations. We'll await your reply.
