I’m trying to use Apple AirPrint ios18 and keep getting message on printer saying “please wait a while. My phone tells me “the printer is busy” “this printer is no longer available “ “Check the printer for errors” but no error code displayed #PIXMA TR4520

It said no connection at all. I’ve notice it says there has to be less then 5 devices connected to same network and that’s how many are usually connected. So I reset all of its settings and tried reconnecting my phone to it again via wireless direct, and now it worked successfully

I’ve also tried it on my Gateway laptop windows 11 and it’ll tell me offline

Hi jadeblade1915,
Please turn your PIXMA TR4520 off. Wait 5 minutes and then turn it back on.
Does a message or error appear?
If not, please have plain paper loaded and then follow these steps:
1. Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your printer one time.
2. Use the right arrow to select Device settings and press OK.
3. Use the right arrow to select LAN settings and press OK.
4. Use the right arrow to select Print LAN details and press OK.
Two pages will print.
On the first page that printed, is the number listed to the right of 3-2-1 Signal Strength greater than 50% ?
Is the name listed next to 3-2-6 SSID the exact same network name that your phone and computer are connected to? The printer can only connect to 2.4Ghz networks. If your phone and computer are connected to your 5Ghz network, this issue will occur.
Lastly, what is listed next to 3-2-12 IP Address?
Please open Safari on your iPhone. In the address bar of Safari, please type the IP Address listed to the right of 3-2-12 and then tap GO.
What appears?
