PIXMA MG6821 Won't Connect to New Router

lvbassist

I recently installed new wifi and modem on our Mac Mini, macOS Big Sur 11.0.1.

My Canon MG6821 is no longer connected.

I have tried several different ways to connect to the wifi and it does not connect.

On the printer trying wireless LAN settings, I keep getting the message to check my phone or computer and follow the instructions, but, there is nothing there and I cannot find anything else to reconnect the printer to the new wifi.

How do I get the printer and new wifi connected?

I really need the printer....

Thank you in advance...

Hello.

Please try the following steps to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network:

1.  Go to the Home menu or press the Home button.
2.  Swipe through the menu until "Setup" appears, then select Setup.
3.  Select Device Settings and press OK.
4.  Select LAN Settings.
5.  Select Wireless LAN Setup.
6.  Select Standard Setup.

Once there, follow the remaining prompts to connect the unit to your router.

I have the same problem except my printer is connected to my router but will not connect to computer or phone. In trying to set up on computer and the phone it finds the printer, says connected, but it really isn't.

Hi,

Are you running a dual network of 2.4 and 5.0? If so, are you computer and phone on the same 2.4 network the printer connected to?

We look forward to your reply.

They are all on the 2.4 dual network.  At least my phone and computer are for sure and to the best of my knowledge so is the printer but I will recheck.
