PIXMA MG3620 won't connect to WiFi, nor will it print via USB cord

Hello!

I have been using my Canon Pixma MG3620 to print shipping labels from my phone for over a year now. Recently, I switched wifi carriers from Cox to Verizon and ever since then I have not been able to setup the wifi connection to the printer from my phone or computer (I understand a solution would be to switch back, however, everything other device has had no issues and the monthly rate is cheaper😅). I have found prior discussion posts and have almost gotten it connected, but usually before the last step, the little yellow light next to the lightning bolt in a triangle starts flashing, and it never works. I searched for anything about the yellow light but found nothing.

I had finally given up on that and bought a printer to USB-A cord (I don't know if it came with one and I misplaced it? I'm desperate at this point😭), and found a discussion post about setting up a USB connection, in which I always get to the last portion where it has me test run the printer. The printer does nothing, and in the printer's queue it just says, "Offline." I am not as worried about the wifi connection as I am about using the cord because I feel like it shouldn't be this difficult to print something with a physical USB cord? Please, help me!😩

I have attached the links for the discussions I have followed that have not worked & would greatly appreciate any and all advice! Thank you in advance!🕺

Hi phillbow1,

Please try setting up your PIXMA MG3620 for use with Wi-Fi by using the WPS Pin Code method.

You will have to log into your router to perform this.

To connect your printer using this method, please view the steps here:

Wireless LAN Connection With the WPS PIN Code Method - PIXMA MG3620
