Greetings,

WiFi Protected Setup is a convenience feature, but doesn't have to take the place of entering your network's SSID and password.

Option 1 or 2 should work:

Canon Knowledge Base - Wi-Fi Setup - PIXMA MG3620

~DxO PhotoLab Elite ~DaVinci Resolve ~Windows11 Pro ~ImageClass MF644Cdw/MF656Cdw ~Pixel 8 ~CarePaks Are Worth It

My printer doesn't have anywhere to physically enter an SSID.

Hi luziadovalongo ,

Please use the "cableless setup" method to connect your PIXMA MG3620 to your wireless network.  To do this, please follow the steps provided in this article:

Unfortunately, I am having the same issue and this link, posted above, does not work for Mac support as it times out:

Suggestions welcome.  Thank you

Greetings,

The steps are identical for both windows and MAC.  You are essentially running the printer's installation software and providing the SSID (Network name) and password to the printer.  The first step is the most important.  Enabling Wireless Paring Mode on the Printer:

Once this is done, run the installer for MAC. The images in the KB article referenced above are 99% identical to what you'll see in MAC.
