I keep getting an error message on setup. Message says "Failed to acquire information on the driver and software. Check the network connection and try again" I have no problem with connected computer to the printer

Once I have the printer setup and I go to ij.start.canon to do the setup with the computer. I start the setup and a zip file is downloaded "win-g7000-1_3-n_mcd (4)" This then starts to download 16 updates and on about the 15th I get the message and cannot go any further
