I really need help installing the Canon Pixma G1220 (G1020) on my Windows 7 PC. The issue is that the CD containing the printer drivers went missing during shipment. I have downloaded several drivers from the Canon website, but none of them have worked.
I suspect the problem lies with my Windows 7 32-bit operating system.
When I install the drivers, the installation is successful, but the printer is not recognized. Additionally, attempting to add the printer through the Control Panel results in an error (Can't add printer) with error code 0x000000C1. Trying to add the printer through a shared network also doesn't work.
I am unable to upgrade my Windows due to software licensing constraints. Can anyone please assist me in obtaining the original drivers? I have tried all options, but none have worked.
The printer functions properly on Windows 8, 10, and 11, but fails to install on Windows 7.
My job is on the line please help!
