PIXMA E569S scans with VueScan but not with Canon software

Hi,

I'm using PIXMA E569S on MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.1.1. I have installed the right softwares and drives - my printer works. I tried VueScan trial to see if the scanner is connected. I am able to scan with that program but not with Canon's own program. It  keeps showing the following pop up. Any help?
