Media Options not available on Mac for PIXMA G6020

Recently purchased pixma g6020 and the color saturation is very dull. I have a Mac mini with Tahoe iOS. I am unable to change my printer media type to match the paper used. The only options that it gives me is envelope, photo and plain paper. I have read that air-print limits these options. I tried to look for another driver to disable AirPrint and it is not available on the website. I also have downloaded the Easy Print Canon app and tired to print through there and still does not give me alternate options other than what was stated above. Please help.

Yeah, that’s a pretty common frustration with Canon + macOS. You’re right that AirPrint limits the media options, which is why you’re only seeing plain/photo/envelope and that usually results in dull colors.

If macOS still forces AirPrint only, you’re kind of stuck with limited controls printing via USB instead of Wi-Fi sometimes exposes more options.

This is unfortunate. I wish they had two different drivers to support both capabilities or develop software to resolve this issue. Looks like I will be returning.
