MX922

I have never had such a difficult time connecting a printer to a wifi network. Just got my MX922 yesterday (well it is now 12:27). And it is still not connected.

Yes I read these boards. Yes I found the option for the ridiculous instructions for holding the WPS button.

Yes to all that. Was able to find my network and the printer said it connected. However my devices Iphone and Ipad cannot see the printer to print over wifi.

Called Canon tech support - no help. I have rebooted, reset up the printer wifi lan connections to my network. The final suggestion was to physically move my printer closer to my brand spanking new modem and router. NOTHING..

I used the official Canon App. The instructions inside this app look like screen shots for an iphone 3gs. It tells me to look for a Canon network to show up in my settings.

I will say I bought this printer to replace my HP officejet that I had used since 2011 and basically wore out. That model I basically plugged it in and it setup itself. It was 20 feet away from my OLD router. I apparently have purchased a lemon if you all can get yours to work and mine doesnt even with tech support. So I guess I will be returning it and going back to hp and just buy second hand ink cartridges.

Please take note of the IPv4 IP address.

On your iPhone, please open Safari.  In the address bar at the top, please type in the IPv4 IP address of your PIXMA MX922.

Are you able to connect to the Remote UI of your PIXMA MX922?  Or does the connection time out?
