I have followed set up directions per cannon app, but I have never been able to print from my MG560. The the app says "printer not set" and it does not detect the printer even with access point blue light on. Please help

Thank you for your reply,
There are 2 steps in re-connecting your printer again also with fresh installation of drivers.
Here are the steps for your reference,
1) Connect the printer to your network
2) Download and install the driver
1) Connect the printer to your network
a) On the printer, Press the "Home" button
b) Select "Setup"
c) Select "Device Setting"
d) Select "LAN Setting"
e) Select "Wireless LAN Setup"
f) Press the "STOP" button, or select "To other connection method"
g) Select your network name
h) Input your password if any
i) Confirm your connection
2) Download and install the driver
a) Download the driver
- http://www.usa.canon.com/nw3s/CanonUSA/DownloadContents/English/0100600302EN.htm
b) Run the installation
c) Select "Wireless Connection/Network Connection"
- If your printer is detected, you may proceed by selecting "Next"
- If your printer is not detected, select "Set up the printer network connection via USB Cable" then proceed by selecting "Next"
d) Complete the installation
3) Perform a test print
* Once you have completed both steps above successfully, you may perform a test print to confirm the success of your installation.

As I understand you are trying to set up the Canon printer wirelessly and would like to print using your mobile devices.
Kindly reconfirm what is your printer model. is it MG5620? or MG5622?
Also advise us what is your computer operating system.
