My MG5520 printer has permanently now been returning 'printer not responding' message, for both LAN and Bluetooth connections. Previously it had been sporadic and sporadically working. A couple of the color ink levels are low but not empty, the black ink is fine and recently replaced.

Hello.
To try and resolve this issue, temporarily disable any firewall or anti-spyware programs on the system. Then see if you are able to communicate.
